tumaBox offers a public DNS service. Why should you use our DNS? Because:

	* You don't want your ISP or other DNS provider to forbid/forge/redirect the domains that you access. We only return true responses as received from authority servers.

Introduction

You've got yourself some storage attached to your gigabit network - now what? How do you make use of it? How do you access it?

There are several ways in which you can access that storage. Or should I say there are several protocols and software packages which enable you to access that storage. Each has advantages and disadvantages in terms of performance and convenience. This is what this article is about.

tumaBox Uniqueness

Different by Design

We started out tumaBox for our own needs. We wanted a little box for our home that would take care of all our files as well as our (inter)net connectivity in a smart way, with maximum performance. We also wanted this little box to be able to play media to any TV and to come in a small form factor, with huge storage capacity and quiet enough to be able to sleep in the same room. The result is tumaBox.
